Meet Abigail Brown

Abigail Brown was born outside Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from WSU and worked as a registered nurse in multiple settings before going back to school and becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023. She has extensive experience in outpatient surgery, pain management, and perioperative care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and has provided advanced clinical support across a variety of surgical specialties.

Abigail has a strong background in aiding with orthopedic, neurological, and gastrointestinal procedures, with hands-on experience in joint injections, pain management techniques, and post-operative recovery. Her clinical expertise also includes pre-admission evaluations, patient education, and the management of dressings, drains, and surgical site care.

Her foundational nursing experience includes years in high-acuity critical care environments, including burn intensive care units, where she provided care for both pediatric and adult patients. This experience has shaped her comprehensive and detail-oriented approach to patient care.

Abigail is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse in Texas and brings a collaborative, compassionate, and patient-focused mindset to her role. She is committed to supporting surgical teams and delivering high-quality care to improve outcomes for every patient she treats. She also have a husband and two boys at home who keep me very busy with sports and school activities.
