Dr. Schrayer was born and raised in Lewisville, Texas. After graduating from Lewisville High School, he pursued a biology degree from the University of North Texas. He then completed his medical education and Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
With a special interest in trauma, Dr. Schrayer completed his fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, helping him to master techniques in the treatment of pelvic/acetabular fractures, complex articular injuries, open fractures/dislocations, and polytrauma patients.
Dr. Schrayer sees a variety of orthopedic problems and specializes in the care of traumatic injuries. This includes open and percutaneous treatment of pelvic/acetabular fractures, treatment of complex articular injuries, sports medicine, arthroscopy, joint replacement, and general orthopedics.
Dr. Schrayer is proud to be back home in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area serving the community that he was born and raised in. He serves as team physician for Flower Mound High School. He is married to Natalie, a Houston native, and enjoys spending time with his family who lives locally. His interests include running, biking, drawing, playing soccer, and snowboarding.
