Alexis was born and raised in Salinas, California and moved to Mansfield, Texas when she started high school. She has been a registered nurse for 10 years and a nurse practitioner for 2 years.
She started her career in Rheumatology before switching to Orthopedics, her dream specialty. When she’s not working, she’s training and teaching Brazilian jiu jitsu. She is currently a purple belt and active competitor. Her other hobbies include running and hiking.
