April is a proud Georgia native, a civilian orthopedic nurse practitioner, and a Navy prior-service medical professional recruiter. April currently serves as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and now proudly serves as the Executive Officer for our local Naval Sea Cadets. She’s a wife to an incredibly supportive partner, a mom who leads with purpose, and a brand-new grandma cherishing every moment with her grandson. Family, service, and mentorship are central to who she is. Whether caring for patients, guiding future medical professionals, or developing young leaders, she values integrity, compassion, and balance in all she does.
I believe in patient-centered care built on trust, education, and partnership. Every patient deserves to be heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their health. I focus on evidence-based practice, clear communication, and realistic goal setting to support recovery, function, and long-term wellness. Compassion and accountability go hand in hand. I meet patients where they are while encouraging progress. My background in military and civilian healthcare has reinforced the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and integrity in delivering safe, high-quality care.
