Subsequently, he completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine and pursued his Pain Medicine Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Patel and his wife developed a deep affection for Texas during their stay in Houston and couldn’t envision settling anywhere other than in the Lone Star State. He then made his way to Dallas to work at the AOA Dallas, Irving, and Waxahachie offices. During his leisure time, he finds joy in the company of his family, friends, and dogs. Dr. Patel also engages in outdoor pursuits such as biking, basketball, tennis, and swimming.
I continue to prioritize the quality of life of my patients utilizing a comprehensive multimodal approach to pain management with an effort to avoid opioid medications. I believe each patient requires an individual tailored approach.
